SCRIPTURE: For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. – Mark 11:23
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Faith is the doorway to all possibilities at the place of prayer.
God created us for communion and intimacy with Him; hence he expects us to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonian 5:17)
.
There are people who pray religiously while others pray effectively.
Now, what does it take to pray effectively?
It is by having faith in God!
In Hebrews 11:6, the Bible says, “Without faith it is impossible to please Him: for anyone who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a Rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.”
How then does faith in God enhance answers to our prayers?
a) God is pleased and moved into action when He is believed and not doubted.
b) Faith in God releases the power to uproot mountains and dismantle obstacles.
c) Faith is the doorway to all possibilities at the place of prayer.
However, faith is required to grow from one level to another in order to enhance effective praying. That is to say, faith needs to be fed in order to grow.
How then do you feed your faith?
One of the ways in which faith is fed is through Word insight! Insights from the Word of God are vital to the growth of faith. The Bible says in Romans 10:17, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
My counsel is, feed your faith daily with insights from the Word of God in order to pray effectively.
Remember this: Faith is the doorway to all possibilities at the place of prayer.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Feed your faith daily with God’s Word
